Kedros Village is a small complex consisting of 9 villas built in an area of 12,800 square meters in Stelida, Naxos. Nestled on a hilly slope in a landscape of cedar-trees and prehistoric granite, the villas offer amazing views of the port, especially during sunset.
The villas are built in a surrounding full of plants and trees and their orientation allows them to be cool in the summer and maintain a stable temperature during winter. Natural materials were used for their construction, decoration and furnishing; the floors are mostly made of white Naxos marble or solid oak wood, the paint of the walls is ecological, while the furniture is entirely made of wood.
The Villas
Each villa is especially designed to offer you a comfortable and relaxing stay; there are large sofas in the sitting rooms creating a welcoming atmosphere. The kitchens¢ equipment includes an oven, electrical plates, fridge, a small dishwasher, a coffee maker, a toaster, and a complete set of cooking pots and pans. Each villa also has two dining areas; one inside and another one in the garden under a pergola or the shade of trees.
The bedrooms have balconies enjoying both sun and shade. The beds¢ mattresses are made of natural rubber and coconut fiber, offering real relaxation, while there is a choice of pillows in terms of size and filling (rubber or feather). Lighting and heating are individually controlled. Among the amenities offered are a satellite TV, a telephone, internet access, and an informative booklet for your stay. Most of the bathrooms are tiled in marble, have hot water supply 24 hours a day, a hairdryer, while they provide all the bath supplies you may need; hand and body soap, hair and bodycreams, shower cap, tissues, hand, face and body towels, and slippers. All the gardens have barbeque facilities, shower and parking area, but each dwelling is different.
Kedros Village offers a 200 square-meter pool where guests can enjoy a swim or sunbathe on a lounger appreciating the panoramic view down to the sea, while children can have fun in a playground made especially for them.
Villas Descriptions
• Hibiscus
Single floor. Double bedroom, bathroom and kitchen/living room. Access to garden with outdoor chess. Rear area with pergola and seating. The rooftop veranda is perfect for sunbathing and affords commanding views. Sleeps two or three people.
• Cedar
On two floors, boasting the largest cedar tree in the whole complex. Upper floor: double bedroom and bathroom, balcony with pergola and view. Lower floor: kitchen/living room with bathroom, covered veranda and pergola. Access to large two-tier garden with under-tree dining area. Sleeps two to four people.
• Jasmine
Two floors. Upper floor: kitchen/living room, large veranda with view and pergola. Lower floor: two double bedrooms and one bathroom. Access to garden with covered seating area. Sleeps four or five people.
• Eros
Two floors. Upper floor: bedroom with bathroom and large veranda with pergola and view. Lower floor: kitchen/living room with WC. Veranda with pergola and seating area. Sleeps two or three people.
• Sunflower
Located at the highest point of the complex, looking out over the entire area with unlimited sea views. Two floors. Upper floor: bedroom and bathroom plus large verandas with and without pergola. Lower floor: kitchen, sitting room, bedroom, one bathroom, access to north-facing two-tier garden with pergola and rear area with pergola and seating. Sleeps four people.
• Laurel
Two floors, close to the crest of the hill, with stunning views. Upper floor: double bedroom with bathroom and large veranda with pergola. Lower floor: double bedroom with bathroom and kitchen/living room. Access to garden with seating area and pergola. Sleeps four people.
• Myrtle
Two floors. Identical layout to Laurel, with similarly spectacular views. Two double bedrooms on the upper floor, one bathroom and three small verandas (north and south-facing) with pergolas. Lower floor: large living room, kitchen and WC. Access to outdoor area with pergola and seating, and to two-tier garden. Sleeps four to eight people.
• Lavender
Two floors with superb views. Upper floor: one double and one single bedroom; two large verandas with pergola. Lower floor: sitting room, kitchen, dining room and WC. Access to outdoor area with pergola and seating and to a large two-tier garden where you can relax in the shade of the cedar trees. Sleeps three to five people. |
